Next night she runs the 100m against Sha'Carri Richardson, a test of recovery rather than pure speed. Then comes the inaugural Ultimate Championships in Budapest, starting on 11 September. If Hunt can manage that density, the question is not how much energy she has left. The question is how many lanes her rivals have left to escape.
